Synopsis: Natalie Mercer, a 19-year-old college freshman, volunteers in an in-person psychology experiment by her charismatic professor, Patrick Moran. After arriving at his house late at night, however, she quickly realizes she is the only student there, creating a sense of uncertainty about her professor’s true intentions. Hopeful to receive a monetary incentive toward her goal to move to New York City, Natalie falls into Patrick’s sinister trap and begins to experience repeated nightmares of him murdering her. To overcome the mind-bending horrors of her subconscious state, Natalie must face an even bigger battle that reshapes the structure of an unhealthy relationship with her father.
