Synopsis: This is a short independent project that I challenged my self to create in a day. Surprisingly, I managed to come up with the idea, write the script and film, act and edit this short film all within 6 hours, independently.
In “The Loop,” a dedicated inventor named immerses himself in the creation of a groundbreaking virtual reality headset. After completing his project, he eagerly tests the headset, only to find himself waking up abruptly in his bed. Disoriented, he soon discovers that the headset was never finished—he had only dreamt it. As he attempts to resume his work, he is jolted back awake again and again, each time more confused and frantic. With each reset, time remains unchanged, trapping he in an endless 5-second loop. As his desperation mounts, he reality blurs, culminating in a chilling realisation: he is imprisoned in the very virtual world he created. This mind-bending short film explores the thin line between dreams and reality, and the perils of a genius caught in his own invention.
